Friday's Adventure

Steve leading the way.
During our several visits to the doggie park, we met Lilly. There is a picture of Lilly and Sally in an earlier post. Lilly's human parents are Steve and Barbara. As it turns out, Steve has a Harley and invited us for a ride. Yesterday, we went with him to South island in Lake Champlain. The secnery along the way was very pretty.

There are lots of farms in Vermont...mostly dairy farms.

We passed several "lawn sales" along the way.

The view as we crossed the bridge to Hero.

The lake shoreline is lined with homes and boats of all sizes and shapes.

This is Lake Champlain with the Adirondeck Mountains in the background.

We stopped at Hero's Welcome for lunch....a great bakery and cafe. You order at the store and can either eat inside or walk across the street and eat by the water. We opted for the fresh air. The weather here is so nice. Thanks Steve for a fun day!
