The Life of the Party...Jack

October 2, 2023

Corona de Tucson

Jack was 2-2.5 years old when we adopted him.

Adoption day...November 27, 2010 - September 22, 2023

Jack was the fourth in the Tan Clan to join our home.  From day one, all of our lives changed for the better.  He was energetic and driven by habits.  After breakfast, it was Jack who remembered the chewable Dasuquin treat, it was Jack who remembered it was time for a morning walk, it was Jack who always knew it was 3:30 and time for afternoon ball play, and it was Jack who woke us up at 5:15 am so excited to start the day.  He may have been the smallest of the Tan Clan, but he sure filled up a lot of space in our home.

It was Jack who snuggled up to me when I was reading or cross-stitching.  It was Jack who found a comfy spot on top of Joe for afternoon naps on the sofa. And it was Jack who nicely reminded me it was 5:30 and time for supper.

We sure miss this little guy...

Best buddies...

Happy Trails sweet boy...

  7. Oh, my gosh, you two have had a hard few months. This is by far the hardest thing about being a pet owner and our hearts go out to you, Joe and Sally.

    1. Thank you Jodee…Jack had a hard start as he was put in a shed for 9 months with his food thrown thru the door before the Humane Society rescued him. Joe and I just happened to be at the right place at the right time for him to find us! It was ours lucky day!
