It's Raining! It's Pouring! The "Tan Clan" is Snoring!

St. Mary, MT
August 1, 2013

When we were in Polson, every morning we passed by the neighbors on the way to the bark park. She was always very friendly to the pups and greeted them as the "tan clan".

Well, here we are in St. Mary and what does the tan clan do on a rainy day? They sleep!

Rain...more like pouring all day long! And kind of chilly too...a high of 58 F. We haven't been anywhere all day.

It was a short drive yesterday from Polson to St. Mary...only 186 miles.

We followed the Flathead River...
...drove through road construction...
...and lots of traffic!

 We enjoyed the sites

and sounds along the way.

I just can't seem to get enough...its a surprise around every turn and over every hill.

We checked into the KOA at St. Mary. Traveling with 4 pups has it's challenges. It's really hard to find a place that allows all 6 of us.

...behind us...

...more to the right...

and to the left.

Sally and I took a walk late yesterday afternoon around the park. We saw lots of pretty sights!

It should stop raining mid-morning tomorrow.

We plan to visit the information center at Glacier...can't wait to take a hike!

 Thanks for visiting...

Until next time...

It's August Already!

Polson, MT
July 31, 2013

It seems like yesterday we pulled in to Polson, MT. What a fast month this has been! We have had such a great time here. Our next door neighbors for almost the whole month were Don and Ann and their standard poodle Rowdy.

Don and Ann went on a ride with us through the  mountains.

We had a nice time...stopping and walking and taking pictures.

 We did find huckleberries.

And a nice spot for a picnic.

Most afternoons Rowdy sat outside with Don and Ann. We often went over to visit. Rowdy is an awesome canine...and a perfect match for his humans.

Our last week with Ron, Carol and Cooper absolutely flew by. We enjoyed meals together and some fun activities. Lots of laughing was heard around sites 197 and 198!

This was our sunrise this morning...I will miss the view!

This was a bit of a scare a couple of hours ago.

By night fall, we didn't see anymore flames...
Tomorrow is a travel day. We head to St. Mary, MT which is close to the East Glacier entrance. We are sad to leave friends, but excited to be heading for new adventures. Neither one of us have ever been to Glacier.
Ron's tire cover...cool!
Until next time...God Bless.
