Yuma, AZ
Our morning walk...just as the sun was peaking behind the mountains.
And then, the reflection in the Colorado River.
The river travels 1,450 miles from the Rockies before it empties into the Gulf of California...thru seven U.S. states and two Mexican states... is known for its dramatic canyons...
...and is a vital source of water for agriculture.
We stopped and watched as the Long-billed Curlew were having breakfast...
Shhh! If I'm really quiet, I'll get first dibs on breakfast!
Forget quiet...I had better hurry!
Open wide....
I saw it first!
Later in the day, we stopped for a stroll down Main Street...
And were treated to a beautiful sunset to end the day...
The Doves were calling it a day...
and the bunnies were coming out to play!
Until next time, take care and
enjoy!
