Desert Museum...There's more!

Tucson/Lazydays KOA
Tucson, AZ
February 21, 2015

So, in addition to bird pictures, I also enjoyed the various cacti and plants we saw at the Desert Museum. I read that there are over 1200 different types.

Yikes! I can't help myself!

We didn't see very many critters...

There is a raptor show everyday at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. We just missed the morning show, but did get a glimpse of a hawk in flight at the end of the presentation...

We had such a good time at the museum and hope to go back sometime.

Until next time, take care and...
and happy trails! (Or "The End" as Judy would say...)

  1. Very cool photos! I learned so much about the desert plants there. We just happen to arrive as a guided tour was beginning and the docent was excellent. Thanks for sharing:)

  2. Great pictures! Even caught the little bit of dirt on the face of that one critter...

  3. The Desert Museum in our list of places to visit in the next few days. We've been there your pictures were a reminder of how beautiful that place is.

  4. Will you still be there for the cactus spring show i mean blooms? Colorful and vivid shots of desert life. Very nice!

  5. Gay, wonderful photos! All of them are beautiful, the birds, the trees, the flowers and the critters. I've have been there a couple of times and would love to return. It is a gorgeous place to spend time. I hope you get to Catalina State Park while you are there. We also visited the Kittpeak Obvervatory!! Have fun!!
