I did read last year or the year before how expensive the homes are there...the most expensive in the U.S. I believe. It's fun to dream! And way fun to take day trips there...thanks Jeff!
I agree with you, Gay:) There is sooo much to watch in that area. We did several fun bike trips all around there with many stops to just watch and take it all in. Love the crashing waves:)
There was a high surf advisory posted when we went...wish you could have heard the sound those waves were making. I did walk down to the tide pool area to enjoy the mist...sensory overload for sure Pam!
I KNOW....there is so much to see! If you can walk along the beach on a very low tide day it can be magical. Start at Palomar Ave. and head North. There are stairs heading down to the beach at the foot of Palomar Ave.
Love your pictures. I always do. If I lived in La Jolla, I would be out there on the beach or following you around.
ReplyDeleteWe would have a ball!
DeleteOh for sure LJ is not in the budget as a life style, but such a great place for a day trip. Sure appreciate the pictures of your visit, safe travels!
