Stormy, Cold, Windy, Sunny Day! and Day 4 Photo Challenge

OK, OK, enough already! Thursday and Friday turned out to be stormy, rainy, cold, windy, and sunny! One minute the sun is shining and the next thing we know, it is thundering and lightening. Hiking is not something we enjoy on days like that. So what to do?

It's fun to have a play day!

Day 4 Black and White Photo Challenge

Today's photo was taken at Balboa Park in February, 2015. What a beautiful place in San Diego to visit. We barely scratched the surface as we strolled through the park with friends Ronnie and Carol.

The only rules of the challenge are:
1. On five consecutive days create a post using a recent or past photograph in black and white.

2. Invite another blogging friend each day to join the challenge.

Until next time, happy days and happy trails!

  1. I don't like cold nasty days but if you can turn it into a play day, it's not so bad.

  2. We too have had rainy days and days and days, with more to come. Yesterday was productive though with house chores...today I think we've got to get out and about so we don't go stir crazy. Lucky you to be in such a colorful place, Sedona would brighten up any gray day!

The organ pavillion makes for a stunning B&W photo!

    1. I know...the weather hasn't cooperated with our plans. But I can't complain as I am sure the rain is needed. A few days ago some hikers got stranded on West Fork trail because the creek flooded and they couldn't cross. We don't go out if there is any chance of that. We have also been busy at home, but with 16 paws and 4 feet tracking in and out, you can't really tell. Hope you have fun things to do today Lisa!

  3. It's nice that you have places to shop and explore. That is a down side to Torrey. There is nothing to visit unless you want to drive a couple hours. Looks like you had a fun time:)
